Michel's started back in 1950 by Kenneth Michel.  He started with just a small scale in a small area.  As time went on, he increased the size of the area and had a reputable business.  Kenny's son Mark worked by his side every day until his retirement in 1989.  It was at that time that Mark took over.  Mark ran things just as his father did all those years, growing more and more.  In 2010, Mark installed new scales, added a new building and business was booming.  In 2012, a new office was built. A lot has changed since 1950, but Kenny's legacy lives on with his son Mark. The scrapyard is permanently closed to all incoming traffic as of June 30, 2026.

In 2023 Mark added a Rolloff Container business.

15yd or 20yd you get paid  for scrap less a set/pickup fee of $75 - $200 depending on distance.
NO propane tanks, trash, wood, tvs, fencing, tires, concrete blocks or anything that is not a paid scrap item.
